The Day Before Long Island

Ok....Today is Wednesday, and tomorrow
I leave for Long Island. I am going full circle this coming Saturday in a performance from my hometown church.

I find this a wild experience, and one that I can totally relate with Mr. Presley.

When asked if Elvis and I have anything in common, I have to stop, and really think.
2 things GRAB me right off the bat....we both started out singing in our church, and we both like to "give". Other things like "tacky decorating tastes", a good sense of humor, and doing up to 30 takes on 1 song until we are satisfied come to mind.

But as I search a little deeper, I find that I am EXTREMELY close with my mom, as Elvis was, and totally love & respect my Dad, and I am IN LOVE with my audiences.
Those are things I have in common with Elvis Presley.

Saturday, March 29, 208 at Brookfield Presbyterian Church, (the only church I've ever know growing up.) I am performing as : "Madam Elvis". This particular performance is going to be filmed by the VPRO Network for a film to be released later this year. The film is about Elvis Presley Tribute Artists around the world. God has truly blessed me with the chance to be a part of such an interesting project.

I hear that there will be a website that will be put up for all to see the show. I will share this with you as I get information.
