Lola, The Garage, and Whooaaah!

Well.... A ton going on over here this week! Let us start with Lola Marie.

Tuesday I woke up, got dressed and took Penny to work. When I got home, I was going to let the dogs out. To my horror, Lola started SCREAMING....and I noticed that she couldn't get up.

So to the vet we go.... (I had called Penny at work and picked her up). There we wait in the room. Lola on that stainless steal table, with her hind quarters down.

The doctor walks in, and asks us to gently move Lola from the table to the floor where it is easier to examine this sort of problem.

We gently put Lola on the floor of the exam room, the Doctor sits on the floor, and Lola splits like a lightning bolt under a chair that was in the room! Not only walking, but Bolted....ran like the wind! You could pick up our jaws off of the floor! We were shocked! A MIRACAL, DEVINE INTERVENTION!

If it has ANYTHING to do with a person in a white coat....

Lola's motto: "Screw this, I feel better now....SEE??

Turns out Lola twisted her back somehow, and now she is on 3 different meds. She is doing GREAT, walking and doing stairs. I bought 2 sets of carpeted pet steps for her so she doesn't "jump" and hurt herself.

Onto the garage:

Or as I call it "The Crap Dump". Whenever we get a delivery, and over Christmas we got A LOT. (I did ALL of my Christmas shopping on line last year!) I would wrap the box , throw a pretty bow on it, and bam insta....gift!
When Christmas was over, ALL of those boxes were literally TOSSED into the great Crap Dump.
These "boxes" added up. We are now in the month of April, and our Crap Dump runneth over!

There is actually FLOOR SPACE! The photo's don't do it justice.The hubcaps/and cat play thing you see in the photo's of the "AFTER SHOTS" and all of the boxes surrounding them are all YARD SALE pickens! Yup folks I'm gonna have a Yard Sale soon! Gotta rake in the money so I can by that Gold Tooth for my Yorkie Poo! (He's going to the vet tomorrow for his Pre-op appointment for his dental!)


Funny, I always heard that if people live together long enough, they start to look alike. Does this apply to dogs and humans as well??
