WARNING A Dwarf Burning Bush Peony....

Sunday is supposed to be a peaceful day of rest.

A day when you worship your God, read your morning paper,

and have a fresh cup of java.

But today, Penny and I had other plans.

I wanted to plant the rest of the Arbovitae's,

and Penny wanted to finally finish weed wacking.

Funny, this morning I had to put my arms around Penny's neck,

in order to get out of bed!

I took my medications of the day,

and then DOUBLED MY PAIN MEDS and went to town on the yard!

Well, we did it! we celebrated by sitting out there and staring at what we had accomplished. Then we both looked at each other, and made a list of things that would add some special touches to our hard work.

Above is our "HOPE" tree. Our Japanese Maple.

I thought adding a cute little frog would be more inviting to our yard.

Above is a shot of our "JOY" tree. Our Bonfire Patio Peach.

The Angel next to it adds a real calming feeling.

And this is our NEWEST addition our "PEACE" Tree.This is a Dwarf Burning Bush (a plant every lesbian should have!)Next to it is a pig statue. This reminded me of the gentle little pig in the movie "Babe".I just couldn't resist the little feller!

This is a shot of our hand made wheel barrow we bought at our churches craft fair a few years back. Again a good shot of the Arborvitae's in the back.

Anyhoo....getting back to what we accomplished this weekend.

Here's another 2nd floor shot of the yard.

Then Penny had a GREAT idea!

Why not make the FRONT YARD beautiful with some perennials!

So she gathered up 13 Sunny Border Blue Speedwell's

and 3 Peonies which she wanted me to plant,

1 red, 2 white with the red in the center.

So I figure, the back landscaping is finished,

and the medication is still workin' why not do the front now!

THAT'S IT!

I'm taking care of this AIR HOLE ONCE AND FOR ALL!

I'M GOING IN!
