Happy Father's Day Daddy

Dad.... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
This is the first year I am late in getting a card, and a gift over to you.
But PLEASE don't underestimate the LOVE, Respect, and Thankfulness I have for you.
I got this blue carnation arrangement from Penny, and wanted to share it with you.
I look at it, and think of you, and really FEEL the distance.

If I had the chance to hand pick ANYONE to be my dad,
I'd stick with you.
I have always admired and looked up to your strength, and faithfulness toward your family.
Your loyalty to Grumman, waking early every morning, pouring coffee over your cherrios, and heading off to work EVERY DAMN DAY so we could get the things we needed.

I know that my love of animals, that compassion for them is something WE SHARE.

Ever since I was a kid, you showed that compassion
and care for these little ones.
THANK YOU for that gift.

Thank You for being in the house, so I could sleep.
Thank You for fixing things, thank you for fixing splinters, and "operating" on us when we needed you. Thank You for the rides down the hall on your back.
Thank You for backing off, Butting in,and letting go.
You were born to be a GREAT DAD, AND I THANK GOD FOR YOU.
