HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!
My baby bearded dragon "Daisy Juanita"
in her water dish/ pool. Taken today.
At the moment, Daisy is sitting on my lap
in a blankie with a heating pad underneath.
She's nice and cozy warm, and I'm boiling like
a western omlet!

We got that 50 gallon free reptile tank.
I set it up yesterday.

Below you will see Daisy on her new driftwood....
she looks like she is the Captain of a ship!
Penny and I went down to Ononadaga Lake
the other day, and collected some "driftwood".
When I got home, I boiled it up, and sanitized it.

Then I took the pieces into the garage,
fired up my sawz-all and my electric screw driver,
and built this cool wooden climbing / basking maze.
I went to the thrift shop yesterday, and picked up
a nice wooden stand with a shelf underneath, and it's
also on wheels! I also got a mini quilt to put on this stand
and then put the tank on it.

I also made a trip to Petsmart, and bought a new basking lamp
and UVB night lamp for her.
I saw Daisy basking today,
and it was such a beautiful site.
Daisy's mouth was agape, and she enjoyed her basking time.
Today I didn't have a good day.
I didn't get up until 4pm. Then I could barely move.
I used the walker today, my legs were bad.
I cannot tell you how comforting it was to hold "Daisy"
today, and have the dogs on my lap.
Believe me, if you would have told me that
I would be holding a reptile, no less own one,
I would have thought you were NUTS!
I NEVER had an interest in reptiles.
I cannot believe how responsive they are.
I highly recommend a Bearded Dragon.
Bearded Dragon's live about 10 years.
I just hope that my new friend will have
a WONDERFUL LIFE here
with her new family....Who adores her!
