Gotta Catch Up....

***Update: Momma Suzanne is OUT of the hospital as of today.***
Momma Suzanne had 2 stints put into her heart artery.

Now for a bit of catching up on a Very Special Del
ivery.

WHAT COULD BE INSIDE??

Yes. A blind Bearded Dragon named "Misty".

I had found a FANTASTIC cabinet in the Salvation Army.
Which, by the way....what the hell happened?
(Is it the gas prices?)

We have a Salvation Army and a Thrifty Shopper close by.

This was such a blessing when we first moved here about 1 1/2 years ago.

Flannel shirts $1.99 or $2.99.
I got the sectional couch in my Jungle room for $20.00.
2 glass end tables, and a matching glass coffee table for $10.00.

Now....

I inquired about a wicker rocking chair that I expected to be $5.99
and the woman says : $35.00!

I almost crapped!
ONE wicker chair!!
no matching sets, no sheet of gold lying underneath it.

Flannel shirts: $3.99 or $5.99.

Between that and Hillary Clinton being pushed aside like
"The Little Woman"
AMERICA IS ON THE FAST TRACK
TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET!

Well, enough of my little rant!
The cabinet that I picked up from the Salvation Army was $69.99 to me a JOKE of a price, but I needed the way this was constructed.

The few minor changes it needed to accommodate my needs,
I did on my own in the living room.

Daisy Juanita is on the top, and Misty Lynn is on the bottom.
This is an EASY cleaning system for me,
as these homes have their own glass doors.
and under them is a huge storage space.

I am hoping to work on Penny's Craft Room next week.
I already did 80% of the spackeling,
I bought the paint months ago on a gift card.
I have nice ideas for the space to be more functional for her.

I also want to work on our bedroom.

We'll see.
I picked up a nice duvet set and 6 candle holder from the man who introduced us to Minnie Mae.

I'm tired now.
Gonna go and eat some left over bbq chicken from last night, and some rice and beans!

WOW, what a great idea with the cabinet for Daisy and Misty! It looks great! Glad to hear Suzanne is on the mend! Took Kenny to emergency this morning, his back went out on Friday and he couldn't move..Doc gave him a shot of Demerol in the but-tocks, some Vicadin and Flexiril for the pain...he's on cloud 9 now (LITERALLY)!
Love you seester!!
