Hello FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
Last week, and this week have been a little rough over here, as you may have read.
BUT there were blessings and bright spots as well.
As you read, our blind 2 year old bearded dragon Misty Lynn passed away in the beginning of this week. We are still in disbelief and we are still feeling the loss.
1/2 hour after Misty Lynn passed away, I wrote to the wonderful woman "Lynn" who gave us Misty. I had told her of our loss, and just wanted to inform her.
In Lynn's letter back to me, she shared our sorrow and shock of Misty's passing, and offered us yet another blessed gift.
In a few days after her tail heals from being "bit", Lynn is sending us an 8 week old female Bearded Dragon we appropriately named
"ANGEL LYNN".
We look forward to raising her, and loving her.

Now.... On to what I left out about last week.
I had an MS episode last week.
One where I had my "word salad".
I try to say something, and something
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT comes out.
This is a scary thing.
I was home alone, so I took Penny's work number with me, and wrote a note to show my neighbor. I needed Penny to come home.
Well, I took my walker, and hobbled to my neighbor. NO one was home. So I went down to one more neighbor, knocked on their door, NO ONE was home. I took another chance, and hobbled with my walker to yet ANOTHER neighbor, and HE WASN'T home as well.
This was an emotional experience.
Can't communicate, and no one around.
Well.... I got thru it....
Not only did I get thru it, but Penny and I were driving the other day and I spotted something I have never seen before.

I've heard of Doggie Daycare.... Child Daycare....
But ADULT DAY CARE?
So I joked with Penny, and I said "That's What I need".
No sooner did I say it and BAM!

I LIKE ADULT DAY CARE!!

I laughed so hard I wheezed!!!
You have a gift to look at a serious and scary time and still made me laugh!!
I was very worried about you...I will always be here for you!
I love you!
You are too much I just can't believe all of the things that you come up with. PEOPLE I SWEAR SHE WAS NOT DROPPED ON HER HEAD!!!! She had what I thought was a normal child hood I guess I though wrong!!! You always make me laugh. You always take the scary and put some fun in it-you are amazing. I love you!!!
It all comes down to me locking you in the bathroom in the bathtub and going out and playing the JAWS theme on the piano...I must have ruined you for life....or was it the "Close to You" song from the Carpenters...well, I guess I will have to take responsibility for your "not so normal" childhood! (sorry mom, you tried...)
