A Live Band OR Career End? Doctor Crazy!

I sold ALL of my Elvis Jumpsuits.... My Gold and Silver Elvis International Belts.... and in my mind, I was silently preparing or siding toward retiring from my Madam Elvis career.

I sold the Jukebox in my Jungle Room, sold the pachinko machine, my fortune teller machine. The Jungle Room was in a bit of a shambles.


The other night I went down to the Jungle Room, and really took stock in what was there, and what I really wanted. I started taring down, and hanging up, straightening up, changing up.... and I realized how much I loved that room, and how much I LOVED performing in the Elvis voice God has given to me.

So that night, I came upstairs, and got on the computer. I wrote a heartfelt letter to my drummer Randy. Randy lives in Elmira about 2 hours away from me. I never met anyone like Randy. Or Austin. Austin was my penis...or Pianist. We still aren't sure which.

When I met these two, my life truly changed. I found my inner Elvis so to speak. Well, Randy wrote me back, and we are going to talk in length about putting together a live show, and touring as a Madam Elvis act. I just cannot retire yet. So look for updates. Right now, Randy and his awesome wife are in Maine for a week, and when he comes back, we will have our long awaited conversation.

On the other hand, take a look at how big our peaches got! Not bad for planting the tree in May, and by the end of August we got these.... Penny is going to need neck surgery. I'm not thrilled about this. Any kind of surgery is a risk, but neck/spinal surgery holds more risks than I care to ponder. I mean if the surgeon sneezes, BAM your peeing down your leg, and dancing the macarana on your knees every time the teapot goes off!

And my God what if the anestesiologist had gas? LOL! (I just made a funny!)

So the Doc. says.... You need the surgery to relieve the pain because your discs are pressing on your nerves .... you will be in a hard neck collar for 4-6 weeks after the surgery then you need physical therapy for another 6-8 weeks.....BUT this may NOT relieve the pain!

No wonder Doctor's drive people NUTS!
