SAY WHAT?

So.... I decided I wanted some ca$h, so I start listing items on Craig's List.

In the plethera of items I list, is a HUGE White Monkey.

I had purchased the monkey on Long Island at a yard sale for $3.00.

I NEVER give a price for ANY item I sell on Craig's.Instead I ask people to send me their "Best Offers".This gets me more ca$h for each item. (Selling Tip: More often than not people OVER PAY if asked to give a best offer)

Well, a woman wrote back and said how about $20.00. I want this for my disabled son. So I wrote back and told her no problem, but $10.00 would be just fine.

Today, the woman and her husband, and 1 kid come to the door. We did our exchange of $10.00 for the monkey....She then proceeded to take out a polaroid photo of her disabled son who has CP.

The woman says "I just wanted you to know where this monkey is going, I am not trying to get this for less money, I'm not asking for a deal".....So I interrupt her, and say "oh, no you ain't gettin' no deal". Then everything went silent and awkward....I sware the whole family looked at me, turned and just left!

Did you ever listen to what you just said....shake your head, and say "I can't believe I just said that". Well, I had that wonderful moment today!
